The U.S. Embassy is seeking individual for the position of Protocol Assistant in the Executive Office.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
Conducts Mission Protocol matters,
such as preparing guest lists, coordinating events, preparing
invitations, maintaining the Embassy contact data base, making
appointments with government officials for the Ambassador and Deputy
Chief of Mission (DCM) and other offices, and drafts diplomatic notes.
Provides protocol guidance and advice to Executive Office and other
Embassy staff.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The
US Embassy is seeking an individual for the position of Project
Management Specialist (Performance Management Evaluation and Learning)
at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). This
is a full-time Personal Services Contract position. Applicants who meet
minimum educational requirements for the position but have less years of
experience in the required field, may be considered for hiring at a
lower pay grade.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
The Performance Management.
Evaluation and Learning Specialist will have responsibility for
monitoring and evaluation across the entire economic growth portfolio
(approximately $90 million per year), including agriculture,
infrastructure and natural resource management and encompassing four
Presidential Initiatives: Feed the Future, Global Climate Change,
Partnership for Growth, and Power Africa. This is a senior position and
the incumbent is responsible for establishing systems that will document
program results at the highest level. The Specialist will serve the
USAID/Tanzania economic growth portfolio by providing technical
leadership and support to plan, initiate, and coordinate complex
monitoring and evaluation programs; applied programmatic research;
results documentation and dissemination; and translation of results data
into meaningful policy and program improvements.
In addition, the incumbent will play a key role for USAID in
developing and enhancing knowledge management systems, dissemination of
best practices and lessons learned, and expanding USAID's capacity in
Tanzania to utilize various forms of data to inform implementing partner
programs, The incumbent will provide leadership in performance
management and will serve as the COR of a $5.5 million M&E contract
for Feed the Future, as well as providing technical support to ongoing
and planned omnibus M&E contracts supporting all Mission programs.
The Specialist is expected to dialogue with senior management at the
Mission and in Washington, as well as the U.S, Embassy and senior
technical level Government of Tanzania officials, on all performance
related issues, including those that impact policy decisions.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The
US Embassy is seeking an individual for the position of Project
Management Assistant at the United States Agency for International
Development (USAID). This is a full-time Personal Services Contract
position
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
The position is located in
USAID/Tanzania's Economic Growth Office and will include a range of
programmatic, project management, coordination, monitoring and
administrative responsibilities. The primary duties of the Project
Management Assistant _ Program Analytics will include management and
coordination of both internal and external aspects of the EG portfolio
of projects and activities. The incumbent will track procurement and
budget actions across the Economic Growth portfolio; initiate
requisitions in GLAAS and assure that all supporting documentation for
GLAAS actions is on file; manage small support projects and/or serve as
activity manager for modest technical activities in the EG office;
support the Performance Management, Evaluation and Learning Specialist
in documenting and tracking monitoring and evaluation of program
results; oversee travel planning and administration for the Economic
Growth team members; and help to organize partner meetings and special
events. The Project Management Assistant should have mid-level
professional experience with a wide range of administrative,
organizational and computer skills. The incumbent will engage with USAID
staff; USAID's contractors and grantees; Government of Tanzania
counterparts; representatives of the private sector; and Tanzanian civil
society. The Project Management Assistant - Program Analytics reports
to the Unit Lead for the Program Analytics unit, and will also take
direction from the Deputy Office Director, Economic Growth.
